Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with cats and dogs of all kinds my entire life. I’ve always had a love for animals. I’ve taken care of neighbors and friends pets since a very young age and it’s something that I genuinely enjoy doing. I’ve had pets stay at my own home and I have also stayed at owners homes. I think it’s so important for pet owners to feel comfortable being absent from their pets knowing they’re not missed because they’re in good hands. I also used to foster puppies in college. Experience includes - providing food & water, walks 2-3 times a day (or preferred by owners), administering medication, providing companionship, grooming, and lots of love! I am a very clean person and usually leave your home cleaner than when you left it!

Emily is an incredibly responsible young woman who would be an excellent pet sitter for you. She is trustworthy and very experienced with taking care of pets; she has grown up with pets her entire life and is a pet lover! Emily has pet sat for neighbors and friends in the past as well as house sitter for people she does not k ow because she was recommended to do so. You can’t go wrong in hiring Emily to house sit, or watch your pets while you are away!
Hi! I hired Emily to do a last-minute overnight doggie-sitting when her best friend (who had sat for us a few times before) was unavailable one weekend. Emily came over to do a meet-and-greet and was so lovely, both with me and our yellow lab SunnyDay that I was actually excited to try her out. She was awesome!! Not only did she make sure Sunny got her regularly scheduled walks and feedings, but she took IMMACULATE CARE of our little beach cottage. I could tell she was very responsive and respectful of our pup and our home. We've had her spend several overnights on several occasions and each visit, she communicated regularly with us while we were gone. When I asked her for picks, I promptly got happy snaps of our beloved 12-year-old pooch. I LOVE that!! I literally cannot recommend her enough...you would be very lucky to have Emily as part of your Rover.com team!

A typical day
I love being active! I will be taking the dogs on nice long walks to get their energy out so they can relax with me at night. I’m extremely close to the beach / boardwalk so they can explore lots of smells and other things :) I love going to dog parks if your pet is dog friendly.

Availability
I currently work full time 8am to 4pm Monday - Friday. I am an early riser so I have plenty of time in the morning as well as all my time after work. I also have a 30 minute break in the middle of the day to go home. I am very active and like to do daily walks and love having a companion with me!
