Hello there! My name is Emily - and I would love the privilege of taking care your pet(s) while you are away. A little bit about me - I am a 25-year old veterinary assistant and I have just finished my last class of veterinary technician school at the JC - all I need now is to obtain my hours and take the test to become a Registered Veterinary Technician, or RVT. Animals are my life, and I plan to devote my life to helping them. I live in Petaluma and work at a vet in Novato - so depending on what your pets’ needs are, I am able to accommodate pets in those areas and possibly a little north or south of those areas (such as Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park and San Rafael). In addition to my medical experience at the vet, I have also owned dogs my whole life as well as worked at two dog boarding facilities for a total of three years where I obtained dog handling skills as well as a general knowledge of dog behavior. I am very respectful, caring and devoted to the dogs under my care. I have no problem going above and beyond - whatever is needed for both your pet and you to feel comfortable. *I would like to add that if you are requesting more than one overnight, I will request that I am able to bring my dog, Bucky. He is a senior red heeler mix who spends the majority of his time sleeping due to his medication - he is non-reactive, submissive, and cares much more about people than any dog/cat. I am more than willing to bring him over pre-stay to have a meet and greet so that all everyone is comfortable before we agree for me to stay there.
