Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Emily and I have been in the professional animal care field for over 7 years. I have worked and trained a variety of animals. Daily care, training and administering medications is apart of my job that I do everyday. I currently am a Penguin Aquarist at New England Aquarium and they are the best feathery friends a girl could ask for! While I currently work with birds, I do have plenty of experience with dogs and cats as well. I have grown up around dogs and cats my entire life including pet sitting and walking for friends and family. I look forward to meeting your fuzzy friends and taking the upmost care for them! For walks I am free after 5pm Sun, Mon, Wed, and Thurs. I also have full day availability on Friday. For at pet sitting, I have a more open availability. I always make sure you animal is comfortable and has their needs meet. I live very close to my work so f they are boarding at my house I can easily stop by for lunch drop-ins between 12-1 I do not currently have any pet's myself but my apartment does allow for dogs and cats which makes it a perfect environment for pet sitting. If your pet is more comfortable in their own place, I can also make at-home visits. I will always make sure that your pet has a comfortable and enriching experience for any service given.

I would love to know more about your pet! What are their habits, likes, dislikes, and any training cues you guys are working on. Do they take any medication they may be on and/or have allergies. It's also important to know their primary care vet in case of emergencies. Also, are they good with other dogs and would they be comfortable at a dog park?
A typical day
Providing enrichment and exercise is important to any pet's day. I live in North End so there are plenty of great places to walk dogs including the harbor walk and many different neighboring parks. I also have a really nice sized dog park right next door. Enrichment is also essential to a pet's welfare so playing with favorite toys and having mini training session if they are working on something can also be a great way to spend time.
