I love dogs because I grew up with them; we always had at least two. I was taught by a professional while she was training my parents' dog how to walk a dog, hold a leash properly, and be authoritative in a nice way so the dog is more willing to listen to you. I'm patient with animals, and I don't mind throwing a ball or a frisbee for a long time (no matter how wet and slobbery it gets)! I live in an apartment in Hoboken, but I'm close to a park and have a medium-sized fenced-in yard. The dogs will always have space to walk, run, and play. I work close to my apartment, so I'm free to run home for quick potty breaks even during work hours.
