Pet care experience
My family has rescued many dogs and these dogs have become beloved family members. I have a big heart for animals! After I moved out of my family's home, I have missed being around dogs. I am organized, responsible, and a great communicator. My significant other and I work 8-4 Mon thru Friday. If your pet is house/crate trained and used to being alone that long, we are happy to host them. Weekends we are typically home and happy to spend the entire day with your pet! I do not have any pets of my own. I live in a house with my fiancé who is also an animal lover. Our backyard is not completely fenced in, so we will keep your pup on a long leash for potty breaks. We live in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It is a lovely place to take walks. I do have experience administering oral medication to dogs. Your pup is welcome on our couch! Note: pet MUST be comfortable around men. My house is mostly wood floors with some rugs, and I lay down extra blankets on the floor. I mention this because I know some dogs are afraid of that surface.

Emily was absolutely amazing with my dog! She sent pictures throughout the whole stay and made sure Indi was comfortable the whole time. She has a yard to play in which was great as well and made sure Indi got lots of time outside. Highly recommend!

I keep pets on a leash when taking them outside. I make sure the house is super clean and organized prior to your pup’s stay to avoid them getting into anything they shouldn’t. I pay great attention to the pup’s body language and I make sure the water bowl is always full.

A typical day
The neighborhood I live in is very quiet and great for walks. Your dog will have total access to all rooms of the house. Before your pup arrives, I clean the house and ensure that all things he/she could potentially get into are put away out of their reach (bathroom trash can, shoes, etc).

Availability
My fiancé and I work M-F 8-4pm. Sometimes he works from home. I work in an educational setting so I do have some random “breaks” throughout the school hear and am always happy to host pets during those times. On the weekends, both of us tend to be home so your pup will get all the attention. I am very active and love to take walks, sometimes 2 a day.
