Hello! My name is Emily. Although I have not watched many dogs professionally, I have dog-sat all varieties of dogs for friends and family (old, young, large, small). Our family dog is a 9 year old Labrador/retriever mix named Molly we raised from 6 months old who is very timid but dog reactive (humane society) so I am quite experienced with timid dogs. I also lived with roommates who have had cats and helped cat sit for friends before and am quite happy to meet a feline friend as well. Just let me know what your family member needs and I will adjust :) I have a very flexible schedule and can most likely accommodate your needs so feel free to reach out with what you need! I live in an apartment and am unable to have a fur baby with me here but I would love to help you and get a chance to hang out with your buddy!

Emily is a dog lover through and through. She is my sister so trust me when I say that she has loved dogs all her life. Every gathering we go to you can be sure to find Emily with the dogs! We also have a family dog and so she definitely knows how to care for a dog and what their needs may be. I highly recommend her if you need someone to watch/help your dog feel not so lonely.

Safety and trust in the environment for your pup is very important to me so please let me know what he or she needs so I can cater my approach. If they are an escape artist, let me know so I don't leave them alone in the yard. If they tend to be smart and can sneak into pantries and trash cans, let me know and I'll make sure to keep them within eyesight and food out of reach. Lastly, if your pup is anything like my family's, then extended periods of silence is a cause for concern and will be throughly investigated! It would also be nice to know if you want constant communication multiple times a day (with photos of course) or if you would prefer me to leave you alone :)

To help better take care of your furry pal, I would like to know if there are any special needs or behaviors I should know about so I can adjust accordingly. Feeding times (and bathroom times ?), sensitivities, house rules (are they allowed on the couch, the bed, etc.), favorite toys/treats, favorite places to go, any paths they like to walk, and any neighborhood dogs they are friendly/unfriendly with that I should be aware of on walks.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks and play fetch and cuddle. Always down for a game of tug-of-war but let me know what your pup loves to do and you can be sure you'll be getting pictures of us doing it!

Availability
I am currently working from home full-time Monday-Friday so I can be available pretty much all day! I can take breaks every couple of hours to give your pup some attention as needed and for sure we will have some playtime after I get off work.
