Pet care experience
I am a reliable and trustworthy. I have taken care of dogs since I was in high school. I started off dog walking while in high school and college for some extra cash during the summer. Now, I dog walk and watch pets during the day whenever I have the opportunity. I am currently working from home, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet during the day! I have flexibility to take dogs on walks as well as watch them in my apartment. I live alone and have no other pets in my apartment. My apartment is clean and safe with no hazardous furniture. I live in a doorman building, with plenty of other dogs around!

Emily has watched my 85 pound lab many times over the past 2 years I have lived in NYC and she has been amazing!!! She has taken care of him when he was sick with a stomach bug and again with kennel cough, kept him a few extra days when I had a family emergency, and treats him like he is her own! She is communicative, caring, and sends lots of pictures while I’m away. I am sad to be moving and to have to find a new sitter!!!
Thank you Emily!! Emily always takes amazing care of my black lab—anytime I go out of town and she’s available she is my go-to sitter. So grateful for her!

Emily is amazing! I left my dog Indy with her for 3 nights and he was very relaxed and happy when I picked him up. She took him on walks, gave him his pills, and fed him (he’s a super picky eater and she managed to get him to eat despite not being at home!) I will definitely be leaving Indy with her again!

I would like to know about their feeding schedule, walking routine, how they socialize with other dogs, triggers for anxiety/distress, what toys they like to play with most, and any other information you think I should know to give your dog the best care. I think it’s important for the dogs routine to mirror what they receive on a daily basis at home so they can have consistency. Any information to help make that happen is greatly appreciated!
A typical day
I love to play outside with your dogs! I live near many dog parks, including a small dog park for smaller furbabies. I love to run around with the dogs and watch them play and make doggy friends! I also live right near the East River and enjoy taking dog walks along that path. If your dog likes to interact with other dogs, I love having play dates with other dogs I know in the NYC area. Some of my close friends also dog sit for friendly dogs, so having play dates is easy. I only do this with owner permission ahead of time. It is a fun way for the dogs to get energy out and make friends :)
