Hi! I’m Emily and I’m a rising senior majoring psychology and biology at UMass Amherst. I have been dog sitting for family friends since I have been 13, and I have taken care of 4 of my own dogs throughout my life, as well as 3 cats. I am a huge animal lover(so much that I am considering a career path with animals), and I especially love my two english cream golden retrievers, Barkley and Tucker. I love dogs (and cats) of all sizes and I would be more than happy to take care of your pets for you! I am in Amherst for the summer and upcoming school year, and am willing to drive to your town within the area. I hope I get the privilege to meet and take care of your pet(s) this summer!

Rave reviews for Emily who house sat and watched my two dogs for a week. She is communicative and caring and treated the dogs with affection -- I could tell how content they were in the photos she sent. And she went above and beyond in terms of looking after my house, leaving it in better condition than she found it. She even laundered her the sheets and towels before she left. Emily is a gem and I recommend her wholeheartedly!
Emily was a fantastic dog sitter! She took great care of our energetic dog and sent photos and updates as we had requested. We came home to a happy dog and a clean and organized house.
Emily was amazing! My house was left neat and tidy, and my pup couldn’t have been happier. I had a lot of anxiety about traveling without Rumor and Emily helped so much with daily pictures, videos, and check-ins! Couldn’t recommend her enough!

Temperament and things to avoid doing (i.e going to a lake if the dog will impulsively jump in, if the dog runs away off leash, etc).
A typical day
I typically will take the dog on a walk depending on their exercise capacities. I enjoy walks near water and through the reservoirs in the area! If you have a nice yard, we can spend time playing fetch and other games, or just relaxing outside to soak up the sun.

I work a restaurant job with pretty flexible schedules. I will be posting my availability as it comes available. I do travel from time to time, but I have pretty open availability throughout the summer.
