♡OSPCA Volunteer♡ ☆Feline Behaviour and Communication Certificate☆ *Senior cat & oral/injectable medication experience* I have had pets my entire life. My first pet was a cat named Scratch. I have also had pet birds such as budgies, cockatiels, and a parakeet. I had a guinea pig as a young child too! One of my previous two cats had diabetes unfortunately, so I am familiar and well practiced with administering oral medication and insulin injections. I also have experience administering inhalers for pets with asthma. I currently have four rescue cats of my own. They were very timid and skiddish at first. I have spent a lot of time to work with them and overcome their fears and help them become more social. The fourth rescue cat has always been extremely friendly. She loves to play and explore! I love letting cats take the lead and letting them flourish in their space, and I always respect their boundaries. I have dog sat for family, friends of family and clients over the years. The first dog I ever sat was a black poodle! She was a puppy and taking her for walks was fun, although I quickly had to adapt and manage her behaviour of biting on the loose leash! As a dog walker I understand each dog has their own unique personality, favourite routes, preferred treats, and so on, so don't hesitate to share those detailawith me! I have years of experience with my own pets and petsitting for friends, family and clients. I love all animals and I would love to pet sit for you as I know how important it is to have someone you trust watching your pets when you want to go on a vacation, need to travel for work or just need a little extra help! I have personally experienced this as we needed a pet sitter to watch our cats while we went out of town and it was so important finding someone with the right experience and skillset to handle our pets while I was away and to care for them with the same compassion and love that I do when I am home!
