Growing up, my entire family was allergic to animals, so, despite it being number one on my Christmas list every year, I never got to have a dog. Instead, I took care of other people's dogs and other animals. I grew up in rural Ohio so I've taken care of all sorts of animals - pigs, horses, cows, goats, chickens, etc. When I was 12 years old I started volunteering to walk my neighbors' dogs. This carried into my teenage and adult life and I've been dog walking and pet sitting ever since. I'm very active, so I love to go on runs and play fetch in the yard. I also have a soft spot for old dogs and I'm more than happy to just sit at home and keep them company. My apartment is too small for me to justify having a dog of my own, so I get my fix helping other's with their dogs. I love meeting new people and new animals.
