Pet care experience
I have lifelong experience loving and caring for a variety of animals, and I do not discriminate based on breed, size, or temperament, etc. I have experience in and am happy to provide the following services: general pet care, overnight care/house sitting (including plant watering), dog walking, pet feeding, medication administration, pet bathing/light grooming, and litterbox clean-up. I am happy to work with animals, both young and old and those in need of care for illness/pains. I have also worked with animals hard of hearing and seeing and have been successful in training dogs with basic commands (sit, stay, lie down). My schedule is very flexible, especially over the summer, as I am a graduate student at LSU, and the price is negotiable. Available now!

My dog enjoyed staying with Emily. She worked with me when I had to make some changes last minute too. All in all, I’m glad she was able to babysit my Boo and I would use her again.

I had Emily come house sit and watch my three fur babies when I had to go out of town for a week. I typically have family watch my animals but didn’t have that option this time. I was very nervous but just moments after meeting Emily, I felt totally comfortable with her caring for my babies. She took wonderful care of my two dogs and cat AND left things very neat. She sent me updates daily. She was extremely trustworthy and is so sweet. Would recommend her to anyone of my friends/family!!
I have been using Rover for a long time now and Emily by far was the best sitter I have found yet. There was an incident on her first day where my dog was attacked by another dog in the apartment complex, I was on a plane and she could not get a-hold of me. By the time I found out about the situation she had already taken my dog to the vet, contacted Rover and my emergency contact and had Baxter all taken care of. She handled the situation with great poise and professionalism. The rest of the trip went smoothly, she gave Baxter his antibiotics on time, took him for long walks around the lakes and took great care of my home. I am very lucky to have found such a wonderful and caring dog sitter for Baxter!!!

A typical day
I love walking around the University Lakes and City Park. I am also happy to go to the Canes dog park, if that is something your pet would like! I am fond of playing fetch, frisbee, and tug-of-war, and will provide dogs the chance to get wet or swim if that is appropriate and desired.
