My name is Emily Kester, I have been house-sitting/dog/cat watching for over 10 years now. I remember getting calls from people all over the neighborhood as the go-to care taker. As word of mouth got out I'd do everything from watering the house plants, administering medicine, litter box cleaning, daily dog walks the whole thing. There were plenty of grooming opportunities I've had as well. This has somehow just become a side hustle for most of my life. Now, things are full circle and this gig has turned into a way for me to Travel the United States! I started a year ago through trusted house sitters and now I'm onto working with Rover which will be another great way to continue on wherever my journey takes me next. I work as a global distributor for a water ionizer company called Enagic. I'm also just growing my photography, film, and interior design business as I travel. I keep myself as busy as possible but have a very flexible schedule that just depends on the houses I'm watching during that time. It has been so nice to have animals in my life as I'm on the road, I truly couldn't imagine a world without them. I offer everything from dog walking, overnight stays, brushing, collecting mail, yard maintenance, pop-ins, medical administration, and all the snuggles/comfort they would need to ensure they are as comfortable as possible while you are doing your thing.
