I’m Emily! I’m a year round Provincetown resident. I work full time in town at the Center for Coastal Studies and am very passionate about wildlife ecology and conservation. I’m looking for some extra work and would love to spend some time with local pets! Growing up I took an active role in caring for my family’s golden retriever for over 13 years and assisted my mother with her own local dog walking business for several years. I have also helped out watching friend’s pets from time to time. I am comfortable caring for animals of all kinds, sizes and ages. I look forward to hopefully meeting you and your beloved pet!

As someone who has been around dogs her whole life, Emily is AWESOME with dogs. She has helped out with our Bernese Mountain Dog and Leonberger, and they absolutely love her. They are gentle giants, but can also be overwhelming for some; however, not for Emily! They took to each other right away. Emily also has great compassion for animals -- I understand she has had numerous experiences working with different kinds of animals. We have nothing but good things to say about Emily. She is a patient and kind person, and she's always been reliable and flexible for us. 10/10!
Emily is an amazing dog sitter! I have two goldens that absolutely adore her. She makes sure to get to know the dogs, their meals, their quirks, their likes, and dislikes beforehand, which is extremely comforting for an obsessed dog-mom like me. I have booked Emily many times and have her scheduled for next week as well. She's the best!

Unfortunately I can not care for pets at my rented home, but am happy to watch your pets in your home for over nights or longer periods. I can provide whatever care your pet may need at home. Feeding, bathroom breaks, medications, walks, etc. I will be sure to keep your pets and home happy and safe!

A typical day
I love to be outdoors, so will be sure to take your pets on long walks so they can explore their local neighborhood, beaches and woods and get their energy out! I’m always up for a game or fetch and other activities too!
