With >11 years fostering dogs under my belt, it's safe to say I love ALL of the doggos. My specialty in animal rescue was shy, anxious, and elderly dogs. I've got oodles of experience with aging dogs, dementia, medical needs, shy & picky dogs, and end of life care. There's nothing scarier than leaving town when you've got a special needs dog; I've been there and would love to be that person for your pup. Fetch in the yard? I've got your doggo covered. Cuddles? My partner and I have a home in Greenwood with two pups of our own (an elderly rescue dog named Mona Lisa and a young Golden Retriever named Huckleberry). My partner may make an appearance as well (oceanographer by trade and lover of all animals).

Emily did a fantastic job with our pups, Dempsey and Sandy. She provided updates on them throughout the days she was watching them. We knew they were well cared for and happy. Emily had a great demeanor when meeting our dogs for the first time. Both very quickly warmed up to her and we knew she’d be a great sitter for them. Emily also left our house very clean which is such a nice thing when coming home from vacation. We’ll definitely look to book Emily for future house sitting and dog walking when the need arises! I can’t recommend her enough!

Emily is amazing! She is so great with our senior dog. She sends us plenty of pics and “pupdates” and we are able to enjoy our time away without worry.
This was our first time having Emily care for our pups and we felt so comfortable knowing they were in such good hands! From our initial meet and great Emily made everything so easy. She gave us multiple updates everyday and was understanding of our dogs special needs. She was super responsive. It is clear to see that she loves dogs and we would absolutely have her watch our dogs again.

A typical day
Depends on the needs of your dog! Elderly & Low energy dogs get 2 walks a day (if able) and potty breaks. High energy dogs I'm happy to take to the dog park, a cafe, or for two long walks a day.
