Pet care experience
I have owned and taken care of animals my whole life! I grew up with cats and now have my own family of 3 cats, a dog, and a fish :) I have been pet sitting for friends and family since I was a teenager, including longer stays of several weeks when friends were travelling.

Emily watched my dog Cody (a very lovable, 110lb German Shepard/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix) for me while I was on vacation. She made sure he was well taken care of - fed, walked and brushed - while I was gone! I'm happy to leave my dog in her care when I'm out of town.

Information Emily J. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if your dog is protective of their home around strangers and if I should be prepared for them to bark or jump when I come in. I also would want to know their schedule for food, potty breaks, etc., so I can follow it as closely as I can. My dog has special little quirks (for example, he hates it when people make kissy noises at him and bikes stress him out), so I'd like to know things like that ahead of time so I don't upset the dog.
A typical day
I love to take our dog on walks on the many beautiful trails in San Antonio, especially when the weather is nice! I would enjoy taking dogs I watch on walks as well, if it is okay with their owners.

Availability
I work full-time from home and have a very flexible work schedule, so I can easily check in on pets during the day or on evenings and weekends. I live with my partner who is able to stay with our pets if I am doing an overnight stay.
