Hi I'm Emily! I love animals of all kinds but I am personally a dog owner at the moment. I have had dogs and cats ever since I can remember and I also am an on-call babysitter for all of my friends and family's furry loved ones. Being an owner of a high-needs dog myself, I am passionate about making sure that pets feel loved and get all the care and attention that they need. I am working on moving into a second career path and will be attending a blend of online and in person University classes to improve my qualifications. Taking care of pets is a great way to do something I love for some income while still balancing with classes and homework. I want to make sure that your pet has a smooth transition between visits from me and when you are home. I would like to work with each client to make sure that the routine we establish during visits/walks/play time works well in your regular daily routine. With my dog, I personally like to make sure that each walk includes chances to sniff and explore along the way and end with a small treat for good behavior and a short cuddle. I don't really feel comfortable walking dogs off leash or supervising them at dog parks, but I do enjoy long walks, jogging and playing. So if you have a higher energy dog, I am more than happy to take them for a run, a long trail walk, or play a few games in the backyard or living room. I also like to make sure that each visit/walk suits the specific needs of each dog.
