Hey there! I'm Emily. I am 29 years old. I have worked as a Veterinary Technician for over 3 years. I completed my Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology degree in December of 2019. I have always loved animals, and have had dogs in my home since I was young. I have experience caring for both large and small dogs. I enjoy going for long walks and playing fetch.

Do you want someone to take of your pet like it’s their own?Emily (Emjae) is the BEST! My dog is sooo excited to see her! She texts me photos of him while I’m gone. I see them on the security camera going for walks. She texts me if she notices something is wrong or different about him. She pays attention and I love that. Her medical training and knowledge as a vet tech means that your pet has someone caring for them that is knowledgeable and experienced. But it’s her heart and caring personality that make her the very best. Your pet will thank you!

Emily went ABOVE and beyond taking care of my baby when I went out of the country. My other plans fell through, and she supported him and me by looking for the best possible outcome to make him comfortable, safe and happy. She thought of strategies I didn’t think of and was incredibly flexible with us! I can’t recommend her enough!

I spend time getting to know your pet, and observing their body language. I am knowledgeable in medication administration, and can follow dosage instructions carefully. I ensure that all harnesses/ collars are fitted appropriately, and identification tags are present before doing activities outside the home. I take care to secure all entry points to your home upon departure.

Copy of current vaccine history required for boarding in my home. I would like to schedule a meet and greet before scheduling service to properly introduce everyone and make sure it’s a good fit. If applicable for requested service, I will require a list of feeding instructions, allergies, and description of typical daily routine.
A typical day
As long as their behavior permits, they will have free run of the home. Lots of love, play time, and cuddle time will be offered. We are located near a beautiful walking path, that we use almost daily.

Availability
I am currently working in a primary care veterinary hospital Monday-Friday. I am still available for morning and evening walks or drop-in visits on these days. I am not currently accepting new boarding clients, but I can accommodate drop in visits, and walks. I am very excited to offer my services to your family and cannot wait to meet your fur babies! :)
