I've taken care of dogs since I've been in high school. From walking family friends' dogs, to house sitting for extended periods of time. I've taken care of small pups like Jack Russell Terriers and large like Great Pyrenees. Each dog has their own personality and I enjoy finding out more about them. For almost two years I dog-sat two Australian shepherds until I moved. I treat all dogs like my own; which means lovings, treats, play time, and practicing our basic commands like sit and lay down! Some might laugh, but I consider dogs "people". They're not human, and it's important to remember that! They do have personalities though, and concerns, fears, and things that excite them or make them happy. Dogs are more complex than others give them credit for.
