Walking: I have extensive dog-walking experience and prioritize safety and comfortability. I ensure proper leashing and collaring, and I keep an appropriate distance between the dog I am walking and any other animals who might be out for a walk. I always maintain awareness of my surroundings and minimize distractions so that your pup can enjoy a safe walk. I am respectful of public spaces and always carry extra doggy bags to clean up after your pup! Boarding: I recognize the importance of maintaining good habits and a comfortable home environment. I prioritize and respect the rules that owners set for their pets and am committed to sticking to those rules, whether I am dropping in or boarding them in my own home. For example, whether you prefer your pet to stay off furniture or are okay with them snoozing on the couch, I adhere to those standards. Additionally, I am committed to keeping your pets' space free of hazards (e.g. sharp objects, small pieces they can choke on, toxic foods and plants). Backyards: I have a fenced in back patio with a mulched area and trees. For doggos who prefer more grassy spaces, I am close to a large public park and love to take walks. Grooming: I understand that bathing and grooming can be stressful for some of our pets, and I aim to keep them comfortable by going at their pace and maintaining a calm environment. Please note, while I have extensive experience caring for friends' and family's pets at home, I am not a professional groomer and recognize certain tasks require the experts :) Emergencies: Prior to assuming care of your pet, I will make sure I have the contact information and locations of your preferred veterinarian, as well as the closest emergency vet center. Should an emergency arise, you can count on me to respond swiftly, ensuring the best care for your pet - and of course, an open line of communication until you are able to return for your furry family member.
