I was the kid constantly volunteering to take our class pets home - from salamanders and toads to silk worms and ducklings. Then I grew up, and I sat for the pets of family, friends, and coworkers. Now, I’m joining Rover because dogs are compassionate, intelligent, and full of energy—I want to nurture these attributes in other people's fur babies as much as I do in my own. Every animal deserves to be shown love, especially when their number-one humans can't be around. My roommates are a 1.5 year old rescue dog named June, an 8 year old puppy mill rescue named Lucy, and a 6 year old cat named Blaze. We live in the Athmar Park neighborhood and love going for walks, playing in the backyard, and cuddling on the couch. I try to meet your dog outside the home so they can greet me on their terms and not somewhere they have the potential to feel territorial. My general demeanor is pleasant, neutral, and accepting so the dog can guide the interaction. I let them sniff me and sense who they're dealing with. In general, my principle is to be confident yet gentle, and follow the dog's lead. If you choose me as your sitter, I will offer you excellent customer service in the form of consistent communication, personal interaction (i.e., sending photos, videos, daily updates, etc.), and lots and lots of love. Ultimately, I just want to share my love with your dog and give them the best care possible. I hope to hear from you soon!
