Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Emily, i’m a Winthrop grad and I have over 12 years of caring for pets of all shapes and sizes! I have animal experience of all sorts, including family pets such as some sweet rescue dogs (a hound and a terrier mix), bearded dragon, guinea pigs, fish, leopard gecko, and my two cats! I know that my fur babies have always loved nice long walks, and I can’t wait to share the love with yours! I have several years of pet sitting under my belt (cats included, they need snuggles too!). I’m very flexible and would be happy to accommodate whatever you and your pet need to feel safe and secure. If there is anything at all that you would would prefer me to do, I am here for you. *Disclaimer: For safety purposes, I do bring someone with me to accompany me to private initial meet and greets and to the first night of an overnight stay IF a meet and greet did not occur prior. He is a male animal lover and care taker as well, but I will providing 100% of care for your animal alone*

Emily was very good with my dog. She sent photos and was always in contact with me while I was away.
She did fantastic with my dog when I was gone anytime I go out of town im going to her ver impressed
Emily has interacted with my dog Bell multiple times and all have been extremely positive. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot but for Bell it is. She came from a bad situation and can be very slow to trust and interact with new people. Emily was kind and took the meeting process at a slow pace, Bell immediately warmed up to her and they were BFFS the rest of the night. In addition to her kindness towards animals, Emily is a responsible, organized, and thorough person who I would trust to meet the needs of my pet EVERY time.
Emily's Mom here...She has always had a love for ALL animals; big, small, furry or scaly. She has helped care for our own 2 rescues, one with very high energy who is turning 8 in a couple months (30 lb Terrier Mix), and one, well....not so much energy (Red Tick Coon Hound), her age is anyone's guess. When Emily is home visiting, we will always find her curled up with one of our fur babies. I believe she would be a great addition to your Rover Family!

Information Emily H. would like to know about your pet
I have been around breeds of all shapes and sizes, so I don’t particularly have a preference! I would love to know more about your animal such as what calms them down if they get anxious? Where is their favorite spot to get pet? Do they have a history of aggression or is there a particular demographic they are not fond of (such as prefer men over women, or vice versa)? How are they on walks? Do they get along with other animals or do they prefer to be separated if another walks by? Do they have a history of resource guarding or anything else that would helpful to be aware of?
A typical day
*For safety purposes, I will be accompanied by someone to private meet and greets with new clients as well as the first night of overnight stays if a meet and greet has not occurred prior* One of my favorite places to go on walks is down bike paths and to nature trails! Also, who doesn’t love a good frisbee toss? And after hours of playing fetch with their favorite toy, I’ll get them a nice fresh bowl of water and then it’s time for a relaxing belly rub and head scratch!

I’m currently in between jobs, so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your babies. In addition to caring for my own critters, I’m happy to spend time to make sure yours have everything they need to feel comfortable, safe, and entertained.
