Pet care experience
I graduated from Texas State University, majoring in Human Development and Family Sciences. This year, I have started a graduate level Marriage and Family Therapy program. Living in the country, I have grown up around all types of animals including horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. I have always had at least one furry friend in my house :) . I have experience dealing with ill and timid animals. I am able to responsibly care for any needs as they arise. If your dog is used to daily walks, I also enjoy neighborhood strolls. For dogs who love playing fetch, I would love to throw balls and frisbees for them!

I’ve used Emily several times as a dog sitter and highly recommend her! She stays overnight with my 2 mini-schnauzers, ensuring they feel loved and well-cared for while I’m out of town. She’s reliable and keeps the house clean so when I return home, it’s like I never left. And my babies are happy!
My puppies received love and attention from Emily and were extremely content when I arrived home. Emily will always be my go-to sitter.
Emily did a great job watching our 2 dogs and house while we were away! We always worry when leaving the dogs at home but she did a fantastic job sending updates/pictures and taking care of the dogs.
Our dog is very shy and nervous around new people, but she warmed up to Emily very quickly! Emily updated me regularly and sent pictures. Our dog and our home were both very well taken care of while we were away. We will definitely use Emily again!

Dogs are very similar to people. They each have completely different personalities. I love all dogs and will cater to your dog's specific needs. Feeding schedule and how easily they will warm up to me is helpful to know.
A typical day
I would love to know what your typical day entails for your fur babies so I can stick to that as closely as possible. I love going for walks around the neighborhood or to a nearby park if that is something y'all usually do!

While in grad school, in addition to caring for your furry friend, I am a nanny for a few different families in the area. Some days I am home all day, and other days I will have class or run errands for a couple of hours. My schedule varies week to week which I would be happy to discuss with you!
