Information Emily H. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or reactive behavior that I should be aware of! I have experience handling a wide variety of special needs/reactive dogs that require a little extra love and attention.

A typical day

I prefer to schedule appointments with clients on a weekly reoccurring basis to provide a structured schedule for each client/pet I work with. I believe that the secret to a happy dog is providing a structure for physical and mental exercise each day. Scheduling my service with your pet includes: (a) beginning with a morning stroll on a determined route (15-20 minutes), (b) return to residence for breakfast meal time, * Upon request, I can suggest some dietary recommendations for your pets needs. I have experience in retail pet products where I became very familiar with pet dietary needs and the brands with quality ingredients. For example, in addition to my dogs dry kibble; I add salmon oil, freeze dried raw protein, and warm water for extra nutrients/moisture. (c) break (at one hour's time), * Put into break time using clients provided crate and/or bed. I can give you the option to add a frozen prepped Kong treat to provide your pet with at this time. Treats that promote your dog to lick is a natural stress reliever and helps relaxation. At this time I will leave the residence. (d) return to residence (at one hour's time) to release from break, * Brief initial walk (5-10 minutes) upon return followed by activity time (options available upon request) for 30 minutes. (e) cool down/cuddle time for the remaining time in the second hour.
