Pet care experience
I have about 20 years of experiencing taking care of all kinds of dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments. We weren’t allowed to have a dog growing up, so I tried to make up for through dog sitting. Since then, my husband (who I made sure liked dogs) and I have fostered a pit bull mix and welcomed a wheaten terrier into our family. When your dog is with me, I will go above and beyond to make sure s/he is well taken care of, and I’ll keep you up to date so that you can rest assured your pup is in good hands.

Emily has watched our Bernese mountain dog several times and always takes great care of him. Lots of walks, treats, photo updates, attention, care, following of instructions, and everything else you'd want in a dogsitter. As a dog owner herself, she understands dogs' unique needs, what and what not to do with them, and all the other nuances of care and communication that you pick up after having a dog of your own. Would not hesitate to recommend her to someone.

When walking your dog, I will ask ahead of time about any leash behaviors I need to be aware of. I will make sure to follow your directions clearly. I have a spunky wheaten terrier who struggles with leash manners, so I’m up for the challenge of walking your dog even if they pull or try to chase after garbage trucks. :)

A typical day

I am currently a stay-at-home mom, and my husband’s work schedule has some flexibility, which allows room for me to look after your dog when you need it.
