Pet care experience
I currently own an 8-year-old Great Dane named Huxley, who I raised from a tiny (if you can believe it) puppy. We also recently adopted a Corgi mix puppy named Maverick! He is very young and still learning manners. I have also previously owned a bulldog mix and have been a dogsitter for a range of dogs of all sizes and ages. I have also worked in a doggy daycare, which was a lot of fun! I am a high school teacher, so I am able to be home early in the afternoons and I have the entire summer off! I live with my boyfriend, Ian, who is a giant softie when it comes to dogs, so if your dog is staying with us, know that they will get lots of love, attention, belly rubs, and treats (if that is in their diet)! I know how hard it can be to be away from your precious pup, but know that they will be in good hands with us (and we can send lots of pictures)!!

Emily was so great!!!! Friendly, easy to work and communicate with and was really wonderful with my dog Pete. Emily sent photos and a thorough update of how the walk and drop-in visit went…I could tell that Pete definitely got some good love and attention while I was gone! Would definitely recommend Emily and would hire her again!
Emily is the best experience we’ve ever had with Rover. She was the ultimate host and treated our “senior” dog like royalty. She sent updates and photos and was just all around awesome. 100 out of 5 stars! Also, her dogs are so adorable and friendly!
Emily was a great dog sitter. Our one year old lab has energy to burn and can be a challenging walker and Emily went out of her way to make sure he got plenty of exercise and playtime with her dogs. Emily was so positive and timely in all of her communications with us, sent us a daily update and photo (which our kids absolutely loved), and was flexible on drop off/pickup times. We really appreciated that, as our travel plans included a very early morning drop off. We were very happy with Emily's service and attention.
My dog stayed with Emily for two nights and it was great! I like the fact that Emily has a dog-friendly fenced backyard and she sent me regular updates and pictures during my dog's stay. I will definitely use her services again and will recommend her to anyone!

We live by Minnehaha Creek, Minnehaha Dog Park, and Lake Hiawatha, which makes walks (and playtime) a lot of fun. We have a fully fenced yard for plenty of fetch or sunbathing, but I love long walks, so I'm game if your pup needs extra exercise!

Availability
It’s back to school time! We can accept boarding clients during weekdays only if they can be alone for up to 6 hours. Dogs will be let out at lunchtime and then again around 4pm. Daily walks can happen in the morning, late afternoon, or evening (depending on your pup’s schedule). On weekends we are home most of the time so your dog will have lots of time to play and snuggle with us.
