Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs, cats, horses and many other animals since I was 11. I have house sat for farms, family, and friends as well as walking dogs professionally in the Charlottesville area for 3 years before moving to DC. I grew up with dogs and have also fostered cats for many months- a year. I am extremely comfortable handling dogs and love all furry friends! I am extremely responsible and prepared to ensure any pet in my charge is getting my full undivided attention

If I were to trust anyone to walk my pet or care for them over an extended period of time, it would be Emma. She is an incredibly responsible and loving caregiver, and she always goes the extra mile with snuggles, treats and walks. Emma's space is a safe environment where, while you're away, your pet can also have a relaxing, restorative staycation. I've never met a pet that didn't miss Emma as soon as she was done walking or sitting for them. She's the best! Your pet will feel right at home!
Emily is an outstanding pet caregiver - she goes above and beyond for each and every animal that she cares for and has a certain way with pets. Her kind, patient, gentle nature is truly a blessing. I have never met an animal that doesn't like her. She is extremely responsible and will take care of your pets like they are her own. I cannot recommend her enough!
I have never met anyone that loves dogs, cats, and all animals as much as Emma! I have witnessed her care for a foster cat - She was so responsible and loving. She really is THE animal whisperer.

Please inform me of any behavioral or social impairments the dog might have (ex reactive to men, bites at greeting, scared of cars etc). I would also love the hear about any allergies or treat presences your furry friend may have.
A typical day
I love going on long hikes or trails. I am an avid walker and think I may enjoy tossing a ball more than the pups do! I am happy to play around your home area if your dogs have a favorite play spot or to take them out to the dog parks around town. If the location is right a nice walk around Rock creek park could be in store for your active pup. If your doggo is more of a home body I am happy to accommodate with lots of belly rubs and love and short walks instead.

Availability
I currently work full time from 8 am - 5pm Monday-Friday. I would be available for walks/ playtime and house sitting on the weekends all day. I would also be able to do early morning walks (before 7:45) and evening walks (after 5:30) on week days.
