Hi! I work as full time therapeutic horse-back riding instructor and am hoping to spend my free time walking dogs in the city. I have experience as a dog and cat owner and sitter, and I currently have two cats, a horse, a potbelly pig, and 4 chickens. I appreciate dogs of all shapes and sizes and love each little quirk. I grew up with two dogs with very different personalities- a friendly golden retriever, and a slightly sassy and opinionated mutt. My favorite thing to do growing up was walk both of my dogs and take them to the beach as I find both walking and dogs to be very therapeutic. I also did most of the obedience training on them. I have volunteered with the dogs and cats at the SPCA in Anne Arundel County. I grew up working on horse farms where there were always various dogs running around. I have been a paid dog sitter on and off for friends and family for 7 years, and have experience doing longer overnight stays with multiple dogs. I also have some experience with basic veterinary care and am comfortable administering injections.
