Board Certified Vet Tech

Pet care experience

I have 8 years experience in a Level One Veterinary Trauma Referral Center. Also hold a board certification as a Veterinary Technician, currently specializing in Internal Medicine. I am trained in CPR in animals and am highly comfortable with animals that require orthopedic restrictions, assistance etc. I'm trained to monitor critical patients and can care for animals that may have more medical needs as far as care (If they cant walk well, visually impaired, etc.). In any emergency I have direct access to Emergency veterinarians that will help keep your kiddo(s) safe. Pets are certainly a part of the family and I know its not easy leaving them that's why I promise to provide your pet with professional quality care. Always open to discuss nail trims, grooming etc. Currently my pet preferences are set to smaller animals due to a herniated disc, that will change come October 2019. If you gave a larger breed animal that is well behaved (no pulling on walks) it can be up for discussion. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Cutter actually looks forward to when I go out of town. We actually call Emily "Auntie Em." When I tell Cutter, she is coming to take care of him, he gets so excited. Emily is very responsible, trustworthy, and caring. You will not regret if you choose her to be your pet sitter or dog walker.

Emily has chosen veterinary medicine as her career because of her love and passion for animals of all kinds. She cares deeply for her own animals as well as those she sits for. Our dogs have always received tons of love and great care from her!

I have worked with Emily in a veterinarian/technician relationship for many years. Emily is both a highly functioning individual and an extremely compassionate person. I highly recommend her as a dog sitter. Jim, DVM

I have a Malinous, they need 25 hours of supervision a day! He is also an educational advocate/service dog so there needs to be a clear distinction between working time and off time. Emily does a great job providing him this balance and he comes hope EXHAUSTED and well loved. I would recommend Emily, if she can handle my Mal-Monster, she can handle anything!
