One Client at a Time
Pet care experience
I have no pets of my own and I only book one client at a time. This means your fluffy loved one will have 100% of the attention and care while they're with me. I've been a Rover sitter for 5 years caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, including Belgian Malinois (maligators), Pitbulls, Corgis, Shitzus, Huskies, and everything in between. I'm experienced with: - Puppies - Elderly Animals - Animals Requiring Medications - Antisocial Animals - Particular Temperaments - Animals with Disabilities Right now, I work a somewhat flexible schedule (between 20-30 hours a week) and am going to graduate school! I'm able to accommodate many different routines, however, your dog does need to be okay with being left alone for at least 4 hours at a time. I do have a dog door that leads into a small, fully enclosed backyard with mulch/turf for potty breaks. The fence is 5' high, so please let me know if your pet is a jumper. Each animal is different with their own special needs and quirks. I look forward to learning what makes your animal happy and healthy. If you and your pet are comfortable with it, I love to visit Sunset Dog Park to get some good exercise in. If its a beautiful (and not too hot) weekend we may go on a hike or visit Lake Mead or Willow Beach. I love to take animal photos, so expect to get many. I love animals. They're goofy, quirky, weird, snuggly, and every one is unique. I hope you'll let me love yours while you're away. Inquire about discounts for long term stays. One night stays have a flat rate of 100 dollars a night per dog. Thank you for your understanding.
Reviews
Boarding with Emily was an excellent experience. Her and her boyfriend hosted our two dogs in their home for a long weekend. From drop off to pick up, the process was effortless. Emily is personable, caring, and communicated every day with updates. Our pups seemed to quickly acclimate to the environment she created and felt that they were taken care of!
Emily went above and beyond, bringing the dogs to our house when we were having difficulties picking them up. Another great stay!
I wish Emily could be my perma-pet-sitter! Immediately made me feel comfortable, asked good questions about taking care of Raymond, and gave regular updates on how he was doing. 10/10 recommend!
Emily Grace did a wonderful job sitting for our 2 girls. She provided daily updates and was very responsive. The pups loved her and enjoyed all of the snuggle time and walks we couldn’t give them while out of town over the holiday! Thank you Emily Grace!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a dog door that leads to a small fully enclosed backyard. The fence is 5' high, so please let me know if your pet is a jumper. I have a variety of gates I use to block off access to the upstairs while I'm away, and I can deploy anywhere else if I need to. If I travel with your dog they will be clipped into the special dog seatbelt I keep in the car. I keep a policy that while on walks we don't greet or go near other people or animals to ensure there are no safety incidents. I'm comfortable putting on and walking dogs with gentle leaders. I check my home for fleas before and after every visit, and tick checks of the animal if we go on an outdoor adventure. I do check pets for fleas during meet & greets and when they're dropped off. If your pet arrives with fleas I unfortunately will have to cancel the booking to ensure the safety of pets booked after. I ask that your dog be bathed 1 - 2 days before arrival. An at home bath in the shower or with the hose is fine. This allows me to keep a clean environment for every pet that comes to stay.

Information Emily Grace A. would like to know about your pet
If you're interested in booking with me, once I receive your booking request I'll message you a Google Form. It takes about 5 mins to fill out, and this will allow me to learn as much as possible about your pet so you can rest assured they're in good hands.
A typical day
I like to wake up early to get a 2 mile walk in before it gets hot. Have some breakfast and head to work for a few hours. If I'm sitting a special needs dog I may come home in the middle of my shift to care for the animal, then head back to work. In the evenings I do another 2 mile walk, and then maybe play some fetch while watching a movie or just cuddle if the walk tired them out. Weekends look similar, but instead of work we may go on a hike if that's something you and your pet are comfortable with.

Availability
I'm an early riser and like to get the first walk of the day in before it gets hot out. I work a somewhat flexible schedule which allows me to adapt to your animal's needs, however I am not able to provide 24/7 supervision. Your dog needs to be okay with being left alone for at least 4 hours. However, I am more of a homebody, so a night snuggled up on the couch with something fluffy watching a movie is my perfect night!
