Pet care experience
Growing up, my family had three dogs of our own, and we also spent 5 years as a foster family for the SPCA! We fostered over 30 dogs, including newborn puppy litters and elderly dogs. I became very familiar with the process of introducing dogs to one another, house-training puppies, making sure dogs get appropriate attention and play time, and simply loving dogs! My boyfriend and I are dog obsessed and have found ourselves being the go-to sitters for all of our friends and family for years now. We recently moved from San Diego to Orange County, and we miss having a furry friend to take care of and spoil with love!

I have been fortunate enough to have Emily care for my dogs on both a day to day and overnight/short-term boarding basis. Her love of dogs comes through in her treatment and attitude and my fuzzy children are always very excited when they see her. She is competent, on time and reliable. She has a history of working with shelter animals, both large and small, difficult and friendly, and brings those skills to her individual work. I would highly recommend Emily. You four-legged family is sure to love her!

We treat pets with the highest level of care, patience, and love. We have an 1100 sq ft apartment that is "puppy proofed", and we keep it tidy, but not to the point where it's not lived in!

Let me know if your dog has any physical or behavioral special needs. Our apartment is on the ground floor for any dogs that have a tough time with stairs. Also let us know if you don't have a crate in the case that we have to run out for a little bit and can't take your furry friend! Any special routines and the name of your vet are also crucial for us to give your dog the best experience.
A typical day
We are an active couple and spend a lot of time outdoors. You can expect your pup to get plenty of exercise as appropriate and take a few walks throughout the day. We have a great dog park nearby that I like to take my clients' dogs to go get out the extra energy. During the work week, my schedule is 7:30-3:30, but I'm never in meetings for more than 2 hours straight and can take breaks as needed throughout the day to go on walks and have play time!

I work from home so I'm at home full time from Monday through Friday. I take frequent breaks throughout the day to go on walks and get away from my computer, so I'd love to have a furry +1 with me while I do! We rarely are away on weekday nights and keep a calm, loving home.
