No dog too big or small!
Pet care experience
I have a long history of taking care of dogs — starting in high school summers on rover and volunteering at a pet rescue to taking care of the elderly family dogs for extended periods of time, to now coming back to rover while I work my corporate job remotely. We had two family dogs growing up, one was a miniature poodle adopted from a rescue, and was a special needs dog with a history of biting when he got nervous, so I am comfortable working with dogs who need some extra attention in terms of behavioral concerns. I have worked in the Emerald City Pet Rescue for two years, and there I have done everything from some training of the dogs, to cleaning up accidents, to simply giving them each some special attention and love. I will take your dog outside to enjoy the beautiful Washington sun and give him/her the excersize needed to stay fit and healthy. Everything is better with a dog by your side!
Reviews
Tux was a happy pup! House looked great upon return and loved seeing pics of my poochie every day. 😁
Emily was such a great sitter! She gave my high-energy husky mix tons of exercise - runs, long walks, play time, and a hike. And she sent pictures and an update everyday. I came home to a happy pup :)
Emily is so great! On time, friendly, and took very good care of our fur baby and house while we were away. We’ll definitely be using her help again!

Depends a lot on what you need from me, generally I will ask to meet you and your dog beforehand so we can establish your dog’s needs (leash, comfort level with other dogs/people, medication, etc)
Information Emily G. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know how your dog interacts with strangers and other dogs, and special needs, and/or your concerns and expectations. Also let me know any favorite walks in your area!
A typical day
In the past I have taken dogs to Watershed Park in Kirkland, hiked along the trails of the Paradise Valley Conservation Park, strolled down the Cross Kirkland Corridor or spent some off-leash time at the Marymoor Dog Park.
