Hi! My name is Emily, and I live with my husband and our two pups in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was about 7 years old. As a child/teenager, I grew up with two Standard Poodles. In my early 20's, I was a pup parent to two Staffordshire Bull Terriers. And in the present day, I am mama to Nala, our Australian Shepherd & Siberian Husky mix, and Riku, our purebred Siberian Husky. Throughout the years, neighbors, friends, family, and clients have relied on me to walk, provide doggy daycare, dog & house-sit, and overnight board many dogs of all different breeds. I am excited to welcome more dog friends into our family and to provide a fun, safe, and loving environment for all. Emily is one of the best pet caregivers I've ever known! She takes amazing care of her own two pups, as well as mine and other friend's and family member's dogs! I always know that my dog is in the best care when I leave her with Emily. Emily has always been a natural caregiver and finds so much joy in taking care of and bonding with pets. I'd trust her with my life!
First time trying this service and I was so satisfied! Emily was so sweet and made me feel comfortable with leaving my baby with her! We live in a single-family home with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors for all dogs to be comfortable & happy. If needed, we are able to crate and/or separate dogs with gates. Currently, we do not have a fenced-in yard, but we will be installing one within the next year. Until then, we keep all dogs on extended leashes when exploring & playing in the backyard. In your home (and in ours), I will respectfully follow all instructions & rules that you provide to ensure your dog’s way of life, training, safety, and comfort.

Before caring for your pup, let's chat about the following... - What is the general temperament of your dog? - Is your dog fully house-trained? - Does your dog know general commands? (Sit, stay, come, etc). - Does your dog get along with other dogs? (I have two that love making new friends). - Does your dog have any dislikes or triggers that I should be aware of? - What is your dog's feeding schedule? Any food allergies? - How does your dog sleep at night? (In their crate, on their dog bed, etc). Please let me know any other specific directives that you would like for me to uphold while caring for your dog. PLEASE NOTE: I will care for unspayed female dogs. My only house rule is if the female is in heat, they must wear a doggy diaper indoors at all times. Thanks for your understanding!
A typical day
We live in a beautiful, safe, neighborhood perfect for daily walks, hanging outside, and throwing around the ball. We also love to take the dogs over to Green Lane Park to explore & walk the trails! PLEASE NOTE: We will only take your dog(s) to the park if you are ok with it.

Availability
I am currently working part-time from home, so I am always around and have plenty of time to spend with your pup(s)! I am available on a daily & weekly basis for boarding/overnight stays in our home (including weekends). I provide doggy daycare, drop-in visits, and dog walking Monday through Friday. PLEASE NOTE: On occasion, I am available on weekends for daycare, drop-ins, and walks as well, so feel free to reach out even if my calendar says "unavailable", and we can see if I am available during a weekend you need!
