Emily took care of my 2 senior dogs and they loved her! She took them for walks, played with them, sent updates daily with photo's, and they came home tired!. Her senior dogs got along great with my pups.
Both of my dogs have unique food needs, and it was no problem at all.
She takes care of dogs or cats in your home or hers, depending on the need.
I highly recommend Emily, you ...

Emily did a wonderful job caring for our boys, a lab and lab/shep mix while we were on vacation for 9 days. Our lab/shep mix is very shy and skittish around new people, but he warmed up to Emily very quickly when she stopped by for a meet and greet. I was a bit apprehensive, as we have never left our boys with anyone for that long before, but was put at ease ...

Enthusiastic stay-at-home dog mom!

Hi! I’m a stay at home dog mom and experienced foster mom. I’ve decided to start dog sitting because of how many people I know who have a hard time finding sitters who won’t leave their dogs alone all day while the sitter works. I want your dog to have a blast while they stay with me. They’ll be treated as one of my own. Whether they enjoy car rides, trail ...

What Emily would like to know about your dog

All breeds welcome! We don’t discriminate in this house. My first and foremost question would be your dog’s comfort with socialization. If I’m sitting in my house, I have 3 dogs (2 of whom are seniors). If I’m sitting in your house, I need to know how your dog will react if we run into another dog on a walk etc. I’d be curious about personality, if they like their space I can set up a crate for them. If they like to be with people they’re welcome on the furniture. I guess my three main questions would be socialization, energy level, activities they enjoy. Obviously any medical concerns as well. I’m very experienced with seniors, and have had dogs with issues like Addison’s and Cushings Disease.

When Emily watches your pet

Any activities you think they’d enjoy! There’s a nice 3 mile path nearby that we enjoy. If that’s too long we’re happy to change it up and do shorter walks around the neighborhood. If your dog likes car rides cool- I’m always happy to go on a coffee run with a buddy. We have a doggy stroller for elderpups or small dogs who like to be outside but not walk a lot. We enjoy spending time outside and are happy to do anything with your dog. Dogs who need more than 3-4 miles walking a day probably won’t be a great fit with me.
