Pet care experience
I’ve been surrounded by a wide variety of dogs ever since I was 7 when I first took on care responsibilities of our Jack Russell puppy. I looked after her until the day she died at age 13. I take so much joy in caring for animals and making them feel happy and safe. I’ve got a lot of experience walking and looking after many different breeds ranging from highland terriers to great danes. Back at home in Norfolk my mum has 5 gorgeous, feisty dachshunds so I’ve also had plenty of experience walking and looking after multiple dogs at once. I’ve also helped to look after each of them during their very early weeks so I have a lot of experience with much puppies and younger dogs too.

Emily has been amazing with my Greyhound and took fantastic care of him while I’m at work or had to go away for the day. Would recommend!
I highly recommend Emily. I have two large and lively German Shepards and despite her small stature Emily managed to handle them like it was second nature. It is reassuring to have someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs. My girls and I miss her!
Emily is great! Our dog is a bit nervous and it takes her a while to trust people and she’s absolutely best friends with Emily. She takes her for long walks and plays with her and Mily is so so happy to spend time with her. Emily is trustworthy and reliable and she is excellent with our girl!
Emily regularly looks after our Springer Spaniel Mily. She isn’t the easiest of dogs especially on the lead and Emily takes very good care of her. She also doesn’t trust all people but instantly took to Emily. Emily is reliable and also happy to pick up last minute requests, she is a life saver! Would strongly recommend!

When it comes to caring for pets in another person’s home I’d like to request basic instructions in terms of what you’d like me to provide for your pet for example, how long they typically spend out on a walk or whether they require feeding at a set time. I also like to check if they have any habits I need to keep ahead of such as eating random things off the floor in parks or difficulty with recall, to ensure I can keep them as safe as possible and maintain the great condition of your home. I also really enjoy bathing dogs and am very thorough in cleaning up.

A typical day
I love running around with dogs and playing ball or frisbee! I live next to a huge park which it’s a great for exercise and fun. I’m up for anything your dog enjoys.

I’ve got plenty of time on my hands currently as I’m taking a break from my postgraduate studies so my timetable is very flexible. My availability shouldn’t change too much even when I do return in September as it’s majority self study.
