Pet care experience
I've been caring for dogs since I was a teenager. Big dogs, small dogs — I love all the pups. I have had a 70lb pit mix rescue for the past 6 years and have seen him go from a skittish dude and terrible walker to a playful lovebug I can take on 5 mile runs. I need help caring for him here and there, so I often trade pet care with dog-owning friends and usually live with other dog-owners, so I have loads of experience walking multiple dogs at a time and caring for a wide range of furry babies.

It's about trying to maintain routine. I know my pup gets a bit weird when I'm away (either for hours or days) and it's good for him to have some regular routine in those anxious times. As a dog watcher, I try and stick with your established plan as much as possible to help keep your pets feeling at ease with a new person.

I am a freelance writer so my schedule is pretty flexible. My calls are typically between 9am-11am one or two times a week, but otherwise I have a lot of leeway with scheduling.
