I work as a veterinary assistant and I love spending time being around and taking care of animals! I have had pets and been around all types of animals since I was a child, and now I am able to professionally care for them!

This was our first time ever using rover.com and we were so scared, but Emily made the process easier and more comfortable for us. We definitely plan on having her back. She kept me posted with messages, pictures, and came out to meet the dogs before she watched them. THANK YOU for making something so scary, so easy!!!

Whether it’s stress, fear, or sickness, I have experience recognizing the signs and acting quickly to resolve the issue. I also am excellent at administering medication, trimming nails, brushing teeth, brushing, and overall love and affection.

I will need to know if it has any negative behaviors and what triggers them, such as “screams with nail trim” or “dog aggressive” or “scary bark but is sweet”. Things like this keeps me and your pet safe as I take care of them. I also need to know of any limitations or special needs your pet may have, such as medications, health conditions, or disabilities. I am willing to work with most any pet regardless of their situation, but having a full and in-depth understanding of how your dog behaves and lives will allow the best care and highest level of safety for everyone!
A typical day
I like to take pets where they are comfortable, especially since I’m not a typical person in their daily life. I will first walk pets where owners request, but if there are no requests or recommendations, I will take the pet somewhere that is open and peaceful to stimulate exercise and prevent stressful situation. I like to play different games and teach new tricks with pets, as well.

Availability
When I’m not working at the pet hospital, I can care for pets! I am free Monday and Tuesday mornings and evenings, Thursday all day, Friday afternoons and evenings, Saturday afternoon and evenings, and Sunday all day.
