Pet care experience
I can’t remember a time in my life where I didn’t have a pet. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, reptiles, birds- pretty much if they live in your home, I’ve had experience! I’ve administered oral medication to reptiles, cats and dogs. I have experience with post-op care as well. Family and friends have relied on me in the past to help with their fur/feather/scale babies. I myself have 3 dogs (one being a 5 month old pup), 2 budgies and 2 cats.

Emily took amazing care of our darling, and needy ;) cat Nikka. She went above and beyond to make sure Nikka had the necessities each day and that included serious and extended cuddles. This was our first time using Rover and I’m so glad that Emily took such great care of our girl. We highly recommend.
Absolutely phenomenal care for my pups and my home. Emily texted and sent pics daily keeping me up to date on everything with the dogs. Highly recommend her to care for your furry family members!

The only things I’d need to know ahead of time is how many pets there are, feeding schedules, allergies and medications if any. Also if a dog needs special attention because of behavioral issues or accidents with potty training.
A typical day
I enjoy talking to dogs like they’re people just hanging out, and play time is super important! If they need to go on walks, they’ll be walked and if they seem bored we go for a ride if permitted! I do have a doggie hammock and seatbelts for my car.

My schedule is open unless I have family in town or something that’s out of town, but I’m strong with communicating that far in advance. Planning is important!
