I've been trusted with pets of all shapes and sizes within my community for twenty years! To know me is to know I'm a friend to all animals, and that I have a particularly soft spot for gentle giants (my beloved 90 lb Rottweiler passed in Fall 2023). In my experience sitting animals, I've found that cats seem to appreciate my patience and calming energy, and dogs love the attention, playfulness, and warmth I provide. A little more about me and my services… • Throughout high school, I utilized my skills volunteering with CatNap from the Heart (a no-kill animal shelter located at 1101 Beach Avenue in La Grange Park), which entailed sanitizing and preparing animal enclosures, socializing adult cats and kittens, light grooming, feeding, and administering oral medication when needed. • I have experience handling timid, aggressive, and untrained pets. • I do not offer off-leash services. If we are leaving your property or any fenced-in area, a leash will be required. • While I will thoroughly enjoy long walks with your furry friend, we won’t be going on any runs or jogs. • As a safety precaution, I only accept clients that are up-to-date on their vaccines. However, I am willing to make certain exceptions given your pet’s age/mobility level. If you’re unsure, please ask! • All first-time clients require a prior meet-and-greet with me at your place of residence (included in your first booking fee). This will allow me and your pet(s) to get properly acquainted in the environment where they’re most comfortable, as well as give you an opportunity to ask me any questions (I know I’ll have a few of my own!). • I have a full-time job that requires me to be in-office 40 hours per week. On Monday-Friday, I am unable to provide 24/7 care and can only accept clients that are fine with being alone for 6-8 hours.
