Loving Dog Mom

Pet care experience

Hi my name is Emily, I've had dogs all my life and my current pack consists of a 4 year old, 80lb chocolate Labrador Retriever; 2 year old, 50lb American Bulldog/pyrenees mountain dog rescue (soon to be a service dog); 13 year old, 20lb Cockapoo; and a 6 year old, 6lb Cavapoo! They are lovingly referred to as the Fearsome Foursome. I’m a licensed paramedic in the state of Florida and have taken care of dogs with special needs, medication administration, and dogs who are slowing down due to age.

Emily was very accommodating on short notice and responded very quickly! It was nice to be able to leave Bonnie somewhere where she could meet some new friends who were able to tire her out. I would definitely book again.

Emily was super friendly and extremely responsive. This was my first time leaving my puppy with anyone so I was a bit nervous. Emily kept in contact throughout the day and sent me pictures of my girl. That made me feel super comfortable. Will definitely book her again!!

Emily is the best choice to watch your baby! She has watched mine multiple times and has several of her own. She is patient, kind and nurturing. Emily makes sure her pets and other pets are always safe and comfortable. If you have any questions, she is always one to give you an honest answer and to make sure your pup is in the best hands.

Safety, trust & environment

I have cameras up around my pool area to watch for anyone who might have slipped past the gate but if pool time is scheduled I will always be in the water with them and teach any dog how to find the stairs. Dogs are always leashed outside when not in an enclosed area. I always request that if a dog is boarding with me or doing daycare that they have their own crate, even if they are not crated normally at home. This is their safe space to go to when they feel stressed and it's extremely important to care for their mental health. That crate will not be used by any other dogs except your dogs. I will treat your dogs like they are my own and will try to make their stay with me as great an experience as possible!

Information Emily F. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your pup bites so I can make sure to take proper precaution before letting them interact with my dogs or with me. If there are any health problems that I need to address or that may have an effect on the health and safety of my dogs.

A typical day

We can go on walks and I can socialize your dog and even do a little informal training if you want. I do have access to a pool and do offer pool time as well.

I currently work from home with flexible hours. I teach from around 4 in the afternoon to about 7pm currently but my hours do change based on how many kids I have in lessons for the day. I'm up by 9am usually to let the dogs out for a short walk followed by some time working. At lunch they're taken out again and get to walk or play until my lessons start. After lessons are done I do let them play in the pool to cool off and have some fun with me in the water.
