Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Emily. I have taken care of my family's two labs since I was 10 years old- now that I am getting ready for medical school I look forward to welcoming and taking in your dog like my own! I often care for pets belonging to family and friends and have been trusted to feed, bathe, walk, and house many different breeds over the years. Over COVID, my family got a puppy so I have experience training and playing with young dogs as well! I am very flexible and most available for dog walking but I also do drop-ins and house sitting.

Emily watched our Standard Poodle and house sat over long weekend. She was a respectful guest and our dog just adored her. We will definitely use her again.
Emily helped us out of a bind with a last minute dog sitting request and was amazing. She was super responsive, communicative, and jumped right in and handled our needy Frenchie with ease. We highly recommend her and we will definitely be reaching back out again!
This was our first time using Rover, and Emily gave us the greatest peace of mind while we were away. Our dog is an escape artist and also reactive to other dogs, and Emily handled these challenges extremely well and kept us informed and reassured with lots of photos. She is a natural with dogs and very responsible. Highly recommend Emily!

Please let me know if your dogs have any special requests so I can prepare and do my best to accommodate. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages including puppies, but please make me aware if your dog has not yet been house trained so we can discuss a game plan!
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs both physically and mentally. If we go for walks I will take them to my favorite park with all kinds of smells and sights to be curious about! I especially love running around and playing games like fetch and tag- I know how important it is for dogs (and humans) to get out their energy every day!

I recently graduated Colorado College this spring and am now studying for the MCAT with evening classes Monday and Wednesday, leaving me with a lot of extra time! Recently, I have been going for walks by myself as I have not been very busy so I am also excited to bring many more dogs into my routine... and to work with theirs!
