Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, including being the primary trainer for a puppy. I have cared for pets of friends and neighbors (both house sitting and drop in) over the years. I can administer medicine with the exception of IV/injections. I currently have a senior cat with health issues, so I have firsthand experience with pets that need a little extra help. I am also experienced at running with dogs - but this service depends on the dog and I do not offer it for dog over 70lbs. Please message me if you are interested in this service to discuss further! Emily was great! She followed all the instructions I left for checking on my cats. During her drop-in visit, she played with them and sent plenty of pictures. She is moving soon, otherwise I would be a repeat client!

Want to know my least favorite thing about hiring sitters for my pets? When they don’t follow an important instruction or don’t pay attention to what they’re doing (looking at you, dude who closed the cats out of the room with the litter box!) I know the pet peeves (excuse the pun) of being an owner, so I can be trusted as a sitter - lots of pictures and updates (unless you ask not to be disturbed), high attention to detail, and high awareness of safety around other dogs outside. I will only let your pup play with others if you want them to, and only then if the other dog is signaling “friendly.” I do not “pack walk.” Every animal has their own personality and needs, and I look forward to getting to know your pets!

A typical day
I love walking and running in Riverside Park. I love playing fetch with pups (on long leads only) and letting their nose lead the way on exploration walks. I enjoy getting a cat engaged with a toy and showing off their acrobatic skills.

I am available for occasional or one-time pet care anytime before 8pm. I am regularly available on weekdays between 9-1:30 to take pups on long walks, fun runs, and give love to your indoor pets.
