When walking or caring for dogs especially I will need to know any commands they know, along with their typical behaviour around strangers and how you would typically discipline or command them so they are most comfortable and familiar with any situation. I am a fear free trained veterinary technician, meaning I can recognise fear and anxiety in your pet through their body language, so I will know how to make them comfortable while around them, but it helps to know before I meet them, what they need from me to feel safe.

Outside of the basics, a typical visit would include playing with your pets favourite toys, providing mental stimulation with play and talking to your pet like they're my own but overall just providing love, care and attention to your pets comfort level.
