I grew up with dogs and love getting to know their unique personalities and catering to their specific needs! I’ve been trusted to care for many dogs, including puppies and senior dogs and have experience administering medicine.

Emily is great! My dog ran to her when she saw her. I knew that she’d be happy for the day and wil definitely use Emily again.
My dog seems calm and happy after boarding at Emily’s for 2 days! Emily is very easy to communicate with. She responded message quickly and is patient with my dog’s special needs in terms of potty and walking. She also helped dropping off my dog back to my place by following the exact instruction I gave her, which I appreciate very much. I’d book Emily again and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for ease and peace working with a sitter!
Emily was fantastic and Tiber was happy. She took her for 2 long walks, sent photos, was kind and had a great disposition. I will definitely call on Emily again.
Emily did a great job of taking care of our doggie. It was a rainy few days and she still took her out, put on her rain coat, and kept her entertained. Emily also shared pics throughout the day and kept us informed. Our pup was happy and we will definitely call on Emily to dogsit her in the future.

My home is clean, quiet, and comfortable. If your pet is staying overnight, your pet (and their things!) will have plenty of space. The building is very dog friendly and there is also a dog washing station if we happen to get caught in the rain! When I come by your house, I am happy to follow any rules/preferences that you provide. My biggest goal is always to make your dog feel comfortable. I even welcome a meet up before your dog stays or I begin to walk them regularly so that they feel comfortable with me :)

I have cared for many dogs so I have a good sense for what they need! However I am very flexible and if you have any specific requests please let me know.
A typical day
*This will depend on the dog and their needs. Any medications can be administered promptly and as directed at the appropriate times throughout the day. We can start the day with breakfast and a long walk around the neighborhood or to prospect park. Mid day, we can venture through prospect park, where there is lots of space to play and for your dog to spend their energy. Back home, they can relax and take a well deserved nap. When they’re feeling up to it, my partner or I will be there to play with them and to serve them dinner. Evening and night walks through the neighborhood are always lovely. If your dog is social, we would love to take them out for dinner with us as many local restaurants allow dogs to sit with us outside. Alternatively, we do cook or order in. In the evenings, they can relax in their bed or crate in front of the tv or get some more playtime in.

Availability
I work part time from home and control my own schedule. There’s plenty of time for long walks in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings, with playtime in between! I’ll always be there to take them out when it suits them best. I also live blocks away from prospect park, where I visit regularly. My partner also stays home and has a long history caring for pets so your dog won’t be alone very much.
