Pet care experience
I first became a dog parent 13 years ago to Kevin and George. Kevin has since passed but George is still here snuggled up on the sofa next to me. I have two boys (Rory 11 and Albie 7) who absolutely love all breeds of dogs. I'm not able to commit to owning another but I would love to bring some more furry friends into their lives. We have a lovely woodland walk and a large park just at the top of our road so we don't need to venture far. It gives us the best reason to get out and about.

Emily and her lovely family are very welcoming and have really helped Dexter to settle in their home, also their dog George is very friendly. We are very happy for Dexter to spend more time at Emily’s, he is getting more relaxed, which is reassuring for us as he can be quite anxious at times.
Emily kept me updated with photos of Luna and messages every day she was with them. Luna seemed very happy and settled on quickly. Thanks very much for looking after Luna so well and making her feel so welcome in your home. We will definitely leave Luna with you again if we are away.
Emily is a great pet carer. She is kind, loving and professional. Her house is very clean, smoke-free, and pet-friendly. Five stars and would highly recommend.
Emily is a caring, committed and capable dog owner. She maintains clear boundaries with her own dog(s) by rewarding good behaviour with praise and treats. She is responsible and trustworthy and has looked after my own dog before. I would highly recommend her to others as a dog walker and/or dog sitter.

We have our own dog (George) who is nearly 12 years old but everyone still mistakes for a puppy. We have a nice sized home and a good sized fenced garden. George is allowed on furniture and sleeps in my bed. Our home is very pet friendly, he is treated like one of the family.

Also, let me know about any dietary requirements and what their usual home comforts would be so I can make them feel calm and safe when staying in an new environment.
A typical day
Depending on the energy levels of the dog lots of walks, cuddles and play. Myself, my two children and our dog will be sure to provide lots of love and entertainment. George mainly enjoys belly rubs as his days of chasing balls are coming to an end in his old age.

Availability
I work full-time as a primary school teacher. I'm about to offer care from Friday evening through to Sunday evening. As a teacher I'm also available in the school holidays. My two boys have all plenty of energy for throwing balls for fetch, family dog walking and all the stokes and cuddles your furry friend could ever wish for!
