As a cat mom myself, I know the importance of having a trustworthy sitter to care for your pets when you’re gone. Providing the same level of care as you would is a priority to me. While most of my personal experience is with cats, I’ve dog sat for friends and family often. I also lived with my in laws and their 5 dogs for a year. I helped immensely by taking them outside, cleaning up after any accidents, learning their food schedule, and endless hours of fetch. For my cats, I take pride in keeping them on a schedule. I feed them at the same times each day and always make sure to clean their bowls daily as well as their litter box. Knowing the preferred play styles and petting preferences of your pet is also important. I know one of my cats prefers playing with a feather wand while the other prefers fetch.
