Pet care experience
I am a doctoral student in clinical psychology here in Baltimore, and an avid dog lover and full time dog mom/service dog handler! I have raised my dogs (and cats and birds and hamsters and guinea pigs and frogs and fish) for over a decade, and would love an opportunity to care for your pets while you are away. I'm a hard worker, reader, and hiker who loves to be active and get outdoors with my giant (95 pound) greyhound, Tucker, whenever possible. I also love to snuggle up with animals and relax together, watching a good show on Netflix or catching a quick cat nap. My hope is to one day incorporate animals, particularly dogs, into therapy experiences for individuals with mental health concerns, as I have regularly seen the life changing impact of loving a furry friend.
Reviews
Emily was an amazing house/dog sitter! We were gone for a week. Our dogs often have separation anxiety, but they loved Emily. She took care of them so well, even allowing our especially high-strung AWS to sleep in bed with her to keep her calm. Emily sent pictures and kept us updated the entire week. When we returned, the house was spotless, and somehow the dogs seemed better behaved than when we'd left them! Emily is a reliable, smart, kind person who loves animals and will treat your pets like her own. I wouldn't use any other sitter--I highly recommend her to you!
Emily is fantastic with my dog, and very communicative about how the visits go.
