Pet care experience
My name is Emily, and I'm a junior at IU! I'm very caring, responsible and have lots of experience with animals! I have multiple pets (a dog, two cats, and a snake!), I've been petsitting and dog-walking for others in my community for many years, and I've worked at two kennels, so I've learned a lot about caring for animals properly, including how to communicate with animals, how to interact with shy or protective animals, how to give medication, how to clean wounds, etc. I love animals of all shapes and sizes, and I would love to help you take care of yours! My dogs love Emily so much! She is so caring and attentive to their needs. My dogs are very energetic and need a lot of attention, so I used to worry when I had to be away. But I feel very confident that Emily will keep my dogs safe and happy. She's very reliable and very sweet. One of my dogs has medical accommodations and she was great at helping with that as well.
Emily has watched my dogs for many years. She is so great at engaging them in play and exercise, and they perk up when I say her name! She is a great choice to watch your fur babies.

I only care for pets in the client's home, so the space is very comfortable and familiar for the animals. While there, I can also help out with laundry, cleaning, watering plants, etc.!

It's important that you let me know if your pet is extra shy or protective so I can make sure to start slow and build trust. Please also let me know if your pet has any special conditions or needs that I should be aware of. If your dog is aggressive towards or very excited by other dogs, let me know so I can try to avoid them on our walks.
A typical day
I'd love to take your dog(s) on nice walks to get them some exercise, play games like fetch, tug-of-war, chase, hide and seek, etc., and have plenty of cuddling and petting if the pup is comfortable. For kitties, if they like to play I love a good string toy that will activate their instincts and get them some exercise!

I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to take care of your pets! Even on my longest work day, I can still spend time with your fur baby in the morning, afternoon, and night.
