Hello! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pet! I grew up with three rambunctious golden retrievers, and since moving to Seattle four years ago, I fostered a leash-reactive dog on my own and dogsit for my friends when they go out of town. I now have an English Setter that loves other dogs! I have lots of experience with rescue dogs, so I know how to deal with leash reactivity, anxiety, or other special quirks that come with a rescue. I have a flexible schedule and love being outside! When I'm taking care of your pet, I like taking my cues from them, making sure to keep them in their comfort zone as much as possible.

Emily did such a great job with my dog, Violet! She was really attentive in providing me daily updates and pictures, and now that Violet is a senior dog, Emily was great about adjusting the times that she came to my apartment, so that Violet could go out to the bathroom more often. Emily even indulged Violet's desire to go to the pet store all the time!
We are so thankful we found Emily to watch our sweet fur baby, Sophie! Prior to watching Sophie, Emily proactively arranged a meet/greet with us, and Sophie took to her right away. Emily was a great communicator, asked questions and we immediately felt comfortable with her. While we were away, and during her time with Sophie we got texts/photos with updates. It was so nice being away and not having a single worry about our dogs health and happiness. We would absolutely use Emily again in the future! Thanks so much Emily!
Emily is a wonderful dog sitter. Echo absolutely loved spending time with her and her boyfriend. They sent pictures daily so I could see how much fun everybody was having. Echo felt welcome everywhere in their house, got some good exercise on walks and was very happy when we picked her up. I highly recommend Emily for all of your dog-sitting needs. Will use her every time if she's available. Thanks Emily!
Emily was wonderful with our recovering leash reactive/separation anxiety dog! Our dog has some mild separation anxiety in the past and is nervous of new people in the home. We booked Emily for a walk or two before we left on our vacation, and our dog got comfortable with her very quickly and she had no issues while we were gone. Our dog also had an ear infection and had some antibiotics and salve that needed to be applied, and Emily was great at giving the medicine/applying the salve. Emily also sent us a few pictures while we were gone which was great! We'd love to use Emily again for walks or for dog sitting!

A typical day
I love being outside, so your pup will get plenty of exercise! But I am also happy to hang out on the couch and snuggle!
