Pet care experience
Hey Rover family! Emily and I are excited to announce that we are expecting our second child in April 2022! As our daughter Everly has grown and with a new addition on the way, we feel the time has come to hang up our leashes for a while. We started on this journey as a way to pay for our wedding and student loans, but found ourselves continuing because we've come to regard all of you and your pups our family and have loved the conversation, memories, and all of their personalities. This was a heartbreaking decision, but one we knew we would come to one day. We are going to miss all of you a lot. Thank you for trusting us with you dogs over the years. We will take new bookings made before 1 January 2022 for stays before 1 March 2022. Starting March 2022, we are going to set our availability an none through at least Labor Day. We don't want to give our profile and contact with all of you up entirely (and we use Rover ourselves), so this will stay up. Stay safe out there and give your pups a belly rub for us. Love, Chad, Emily, Everly, Dexter and Pete ------ As a dog owner ourselves, we understand there are a few key factors that come to mind when looking for the perfect sitter: a fun environment, caring individuals, and great value. We strive to provide the perfect balance of those items, with daily play and exercise, plenty of love and attention, and rates that are affordable with a flexible schedule to match your needs. Every dog is treated like our own and we strive to show that in our daily photo and video updates. Our reviews often echo this sentiment. Shoot us a message and give us a try! While we both have day jobs, there are at least two days a week where we get to work from home. On the days we can't be home, we leave classical music on and our smart home turns on the lights and adjusts the temperature so they're never cool or in the dark. Dexter, our host dog, and Cleo, our host cat, will have your pup familiar with our routine in no time. We require a meet and greet at least a week prior to your stay. We may decline requests that do not provide enough notice. All animals must be fixed! We are a good fit for you and your dog if he or she: - Needs a place to stay for several days to several weeks. - Can be left alone for around 8 hours a day a few days a week during the week when we can't work from home. - Likes to be very active with walks and play. We are NOT a good fit for you and your dog if he or she: - Is over 75 pounds, as our home is fairly small in its layout. - Is not housebroken or does not follow basic commands. - Is dominant alpha male. - Is part husky, as Dexter has anxiety with the breed. - Is under 6 months, as Dexter doesn't handle puppies well.

Chase always has the best time!!!
Simply the best!!!
Flexible with timing, friendly, sent pictures of my pups and seem to make them feel right at home. I would recommend!
My dogs love Emily & Chad. Even after 2+ years of not seeing them (due to COVID) they perked up and were delighted when we arrived at their house. They are always very well taken care of and happy. It really is their vacation while we are on vacation. I get lots of photos/videos throughout their stay with just how happy they are, which are nice to see. The worst thing about these guys is that they are so well-loved that they are not accepting new clients, so unfortunately most people will not be able to book with them. However if they ever do have room and start accepting clients again- you will not regret leaving your dog here.

Information Emily & Chad S. would like to know about your pet
We want to make sure that you and your dog are comfortable being alone for about 8 hours at a time as we cannot be home every day. We also like to know how your dog gets along with other dogs and breeds so that everyone is in a safe and comfortable environment. No huskies due to Dexter's anxiety with the breed.
A typical day
Every weekday has at least one morning walk and one evening walk. Work from home days include a bonus lunch time walk. Weekends include extended walks and possible trips (with owner permission). The dogs basically run the house, so they're always free to play or hang out as they so choose.
