I've loved animals all my life. We have always had family pets and I started volunteering a the local humane society with my mom when I was 14. I worked at a veterinary's office in high school, caring for dogs and cats, and have since graduated college with a degree in wildlife biology. I work as a conservation biologist for threatened or endangered species. My mother has become treasurer for the same humane society and is always fostering cats and dogs, which I help with when I am home. My dog, Luna was a stray that I found in bad shape in college. She was pregnant with heart worms and she's since been treated and through my mother's organization, we found all 6 of her puppies furever homes!
